Our Team

Here at Noble Engineering Services, we have been delivering exceptional reliability engineering solutions through condition monitoring and non-destructive testing services, engineering and metallurgical solutions, along with comprehensive failure and root cause analysis, contributing to effective asset management of sites throughout the Hunter and Western NSW for over 29 years.

We offer a breath of expertise, spanning across a variety of functions, with industry knowledge that extends beyond mining into power, petrochemical, minerals prcessing, waste management, warehouse/manufacturing and other infrastructure-related sectors. We continue to demonstrate a commitment to the growth of knowledge of our people, and fostering a sense of collaboration amongst our team, and with our stakeholders, to achieve the best possible solutions. 

In addition to exceptional technical capabilities, many of our team possess Tertiary and Post Graduate qualifications, and hold memberships and/or positions with professional associations such as Engineers Australia, MEMMES (Mining Electrical Mining Mechanical Engineering Society) and the Maintenance Council of Australia. Our consultants are site-ready and qualified with CABA (Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus), Confined Space, Work at Heights, and other high risk work licenses as required.

 

We continue to lead the way in industry through implementing effective training and development, producing expert technicians and consultants that focus on service delivery, improving safety outcomes and striving for excellence in asset maintenance for our clients and customers.

Our Directors

Noble Engineering Services is owned and operated by two Newcastle families. With strong local connections, Noble Engineering Services has become an industry leader, with a strong reputation for delivering engineering excellence.

Brad Noble

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Brad commenced as a Mechanical Engineer with Noble Engineering Services in 2009 and was appointed General Manager and Co-Director in 2012. With more than 20 years’ experience in engineering roles covering site inspections, risk assessments and design reviews in the water industry, heavy primary industry, and mining, Brad is committed to achieving the best for your business.

Whilst maintaining a key role in the Engineering Team, his role is to promote company developments and sustainability, providing effective leadership to drive the team to fulfill their aspirations and serve our customers in alignment with mission and values.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical (Honours Class 1) from University of Newcastle and is a member of Engineers Australia. Brad recently also became a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Matt Blanch

DIRECTOR, MANAGER ENGINEERING INVESTIGATIONS

Matt was instrumental in establishing the condition monitoring capabilities within Noble Engineering Services with his commencement in 2002. Matt’s prior industry experience gave him an excellent foundation for the appreciation of precision maintenance practises, and an in-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process elements in the reliability of machines.

With over 30 years’ industrial experience, Matt endeavours to ensure clients receive the best assistance in the challenge of Reliability Management to improve the ‘product’ of maintenance and achieve the best outcomes from your assets.

Our Management Team

Shaun Galloway

CONDITION MONITORING MANAGER

Starting out as a Condition Monitoring Consultant, Shaun is one of the foundation employees of Noble Engineering Services, being a part of the team since the early days of the business. Shaun has cotinued to grow with Noble, and lives by our core values, consistently working towards improving the reliability of our customer’s equipment. Shaun has played a critical role in building and developing the capabilities and the reliability of his team, leading by example and demonstrating a commitment to achieving excellence each and every day.

Benjamin Hardy

WESTERN REGION MANAGER

Ben is an exceptional Condition Monitoring expert who has been part of the Noble Engineering Services team since 2011. Over the past 13 years, Ben has made significant contributions to the delivery of quality services by Noble Engineering. He has been instrumental in growing and developing the Western Region team, providing a wealth of training and guidance to our technicians to deliver exceptional reliability and asset management solutions for our customers.

Marc Pavy

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING MANAGER

Marc has been a part of Noble Engineering Services since 2012 and was appointed as Non Destructive Testing Manager in 2016. He has more than 21 years experience in business development and marketing, with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. In addition to promoting Noble Engineering Service’s NDT capabilities, Marc is integral to business operations, striving for excellence by leading his team of technicians to achieve the best results for our customers and clients through the delivery of outstanding NDT services. 

Jacquelyn Phillips

OFFICE MANAGER

Jacquelyn commenced as Office Manager of Noble Engineering Services in 2010 and has over 20 years experience working in the engineering, resource and mining industries. Starting her career as a receptionist she’s progressed through senior payroll positions to her current role as Office Manager. Jacquelyn plays a key role in supporting all aspects of the operations of Noble Engineering Services, consistently seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Jacquelyn genuinely upholds the NES core values in her every undertaking, and continuously demonstrates her commitment to delivering effective customer service through positive engagement with all of our stakeholders. 

Kara Brogan

HUMAN RESOURCES, SAFETY & TRAINING MANAGER

Kara is the newest member of the Senior Leadership team, joining Noble Engineering Services in 2023. As an experienced HR professional, she has a proven track record of building and developing organisational capability. With experience across a diverse range of industries deliving hands-on operational support and strategic development at a senior level, she has implemented HR programs across the areas of Workforce Planning, Retention, Performance Management, System Development, Employment/Industrial Relations, Recognition, and Remuneration and Benefits. Kara holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and is committed to supporting NES by providing the best advice and guidance, leading transformational change, and implementing practices that support and promote a positive workplace culture.

Don Noble

MECHANICAL ENGINEER,

BUSINESS FOUNDER

Don served his Engineering Traineeship at John Lysaght, Mayfield and was later employed in several senior Engineering roles in mining and other industries. Don served many terms on Engineering Committees and presented Engineering Conference Papers. He has received several awards in the Engineering field and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.

Don commenced engineering consulting to a wide variety of industries in 1996, and this work became the foundation of Noble Engineering Services Pty Ltd. Don still has an active interest in the developments and achievements of the company, proudly providing engineering excellence.
